Egypt and Chile discuss enhancing cooperation and regional issues.

May 4, 2023 (PEN) Ambassador Dr. Sameh Aboul Enein, Assistant Foreign Minister for American Affairs of Egypt, and Ambassador Gloria de la Fuente, Deputy Foreign Minister of Chile, co-chaired the fourth round of the political consultation mechanism between Egypt and Chile, which was held on Sunday, as part of Cairo's keenness to strengthen its relations with Latin American countries.

The meeting addressed regional issues of common interest, most notably the Palestinian cause, as well as Egypt's efforts to end the suffering of the Sudanese people and preserve Sudan's unity and sovereignty.
