Saudi Arabia and Ukraine sign a memorandum of understanding on defense cooperation.

March 27, 2026 (PEN) Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Jeddah, where the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as developments in regional and international affairs.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the meeting addressed the latest developments in the military escalation in the Middle East region, in addition to developments in the Ukrainian crisis.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Saudi and Ukrainian Ministries of Defense signed a memorandum of understanding regarding defense procurement between the two countries.
