Oil prices rise after OPEC report on the strength of market fundamentals

November 13, 2023 (QNA) Oil prices rose today after a report by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) confirmed the strength and cohesion of market fundamentals.

Brent crude futures rose 33 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $82.85 per barrel.

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures also increased 33 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $78.59 per barrel.

Prices fell last week to their lowest level since July, affected by fears of a possible decline in demand in the United States and China.
