New procedures issued by the Central Bank regarding transfers from banking applications

October 24, 2023 (pen) The Central Bank of Sudan issued a circular reducing transfer ceilings through banking applications.

The circular set the transfer ceiling for distinguished customers at five million pounds per day, with a maximum of two million per transaction, with a monthly ceiling of one hundred million pounds.

The transfer ceiling for regular customers was also set at three million pounds per transaction, with a monthly ceiling of fifty million pounds.

The circular, which was issued by the General Administration of Payment Systems at the Central Bank, was directed to all banks that have banking applications.
