The French President calls for international mobilization to restore power to civilians in Sudan.

September 24, 2025 (PEN) French President Emmanuel Macron said, in his address to the general debate of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, that the humanitarian crisis in Sudan is "the most serious and dangerous."

Macron called for a comprehensive international mobilization, similar to the 2024 Paris Conference, to coordinate efforts and push all Sudanese parties to accept negotiations and return power to civilians.
