Al-Qadarif implements new projects to support the education sector

November 9, 2025 (PEN) The government of Al-Qadarif State announced that it spent more than seven and a half billion pounds during the current year to implement a package of projects to develop the education sector, including providing textbooks, seating, and rehabilitating educational institutions.

The acting governor, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Hassan, laid the foundation stone this morning, Sunday, for the teachers’ residential complex, which includes sixty residential units. He also inspected the start of work at the Ministry of Education and Guidance’s printing press and reviewed the progress of the construction of the Evaluation, Measurement and Examinations Department buildings.

The governor affirmed his government’s commitment to moving forward with the development of the educational process, noting the importance of ensuring teacher stability for their educational and societal role.

For his part, the Director General of the Ministry of Education and Guidance, Professor Al-Fatih Al-Safi Hamza, explained that the new projects will contribute to addressing the challenges facing education and teachers, and will enable the achievement of the goals and plans set.

The Director General of the Ministry of Finance and Manpower, Professor Najat Ahmed Mohamed, confirmed that this year represents a year for education in the state, explaining that the government, in cooperation with partners, has worked to reform the reality of education.

The government official expressed her gratitude for the corporate social responsibility programs that support this sector, especially the contribution of Sharian Al Shamal Company in providing seating units for the state's schools.
