King Salman Relief distributes more than 2,000 food baskets in Blue Nile and Gedaref.

July 6, 2025 (PEN) The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) distributed 700 food baskets to displaced families in Damazin Governorate, Blue Nile State, benefiting 4,598 individuals.

In related news, an additional 1,400 food baskets were distributed in Gedaref locality in Gedaref State, benefiting 8,820 individuals from the most vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities, widows, and the elderly.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), this support comes as part of the 2025 Food Security Enhancement Project in Sudan, implemented by Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief), with the aim of assisting needy and affected groups and alleviating the suffering of the Sudanese people in light of the current humanitarian circumstances.
