King Salman Relief distributes food baskets to displaced people in Khartoum and White Nile states.

July 8, 2025 (PEN) - The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) announced the distribution of 1,500 food baskets to the most needy and displaced families in Umm Ramta locality in White Nile State, benefiting 10,935 individuals.

The center also distributed 800 other food baskets to displaced families in Omdurman locality in Khartoum state, benefiting 6,632 individuals, as part of the third phase of the Food Security Support Project in Sudan for the year 2025.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), this initiative is an extension of the humanitarian efforts provided by Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people.
