King Salman Relief distributes food aid in Sheikan locality

January 3, 2026 (PEN) The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid distributed 1,500 food baskets to displaced and needy people in Sheikan locality, North Kordofan State, last Thursday.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), 7,011 individuals benefited from the food aid, within the third phase of the food security support project in Sudan for the year 2025.

This comes – according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) – as part of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, to help the Sudanese people in light of the humanitarian crisis they are experiencing.
