King Salman Relief distributes 2,300 food baskets in North Kordofan

January 4, 2026 (PEN) The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid distributed 2,300 food baskets to the most needy families in Sheikan locality, North Kordofan State.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), 2,300 families benefited from the aid, as part of the third phase of the food security support project in Sudan for the year 2025.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), this support comes within the framework of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people as a result of the humanitarian crisis they are going through, and to contribute to enhancing food security.
