Bin Farhan: Jeddah agreements contributed to facilitating humanitarian aid to Sudan

February 24, 2025 (PEN) Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan stressed, during his speech at the opening of the fourth Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, the Kingdom's keenness to promote peaceful solutions and provide urgent humanitarian support in various humanitarian crises around the world.

His Highness pointed out the Kingdom's commitment to implementing urgent relief projects that include emergency response, food security, shelter, water and environmental sanitation, in cooperation with international partners.

Regarding the crisis in Sudan, Prince Faisal reviewed the Kingdom’s efforts, especially through the two Jeddah agreements, which contributed to ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid, in addition to implementing successful evacuation operations that saved more than 8,400 people from 110 different countries.
