Türkiye: Resolving the Sudan crisis is a vital necessity for the Horn of Africa and Africa as a whole.

June 21, 2025 (PEN) Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during the opening session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers Conference held in Istanbul, affirmed Turkey's strong support for all regional and international peace efforts to end the crisis in Sudan.

Fidan called on the international community to provide sincere support to achieve peace and stability in Sudan, stressing that "resolving this issue is not only a concern of the Sudanese people, but is of vital importance to the Horn of Africa and the entire continent."
