Qatar affirms its support for Sudan's unity and its rejection of any foreign interference

February 24, 2025 (PEN) Qatari Minister of State for International Cooperation, Mariam bint Ali Al-Misnad, affirmed in her speech before the high-level segment of the 58th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, the State of Qatar's firm position in supporting the unity, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Sudan.

During her speech, Al-Masnad stressed Qatar's rejection of any interference in Sudan's internal affairs.

Al-Masnad pointed out that the humanitarian role played by Qatar since the outbreak of war in Sudan is still ongoing, based on its humanitarian and fraternal duty towards the Sudanese people.
