Saudi food aid reaches thousands of families in Kosti

January 15, 2026 (PEN) The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid distributed 1,200 food baskets to displaced families and those returning to their homes in Kosti locality in White Nile State the day before yesterday.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), 7,669 individuals benefited from food aid within the "Madad" Sudan project for the year 2026.
This comes, according to SPA, within the framework of relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people as a result of the humanitarian crisis they are going through and to achieve food security.
