3,849 food baskets from the King Salman Center for displaced people in the White Nile

July 15, 2026 (PEN) The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid distributed 3,849 food baskets to displaced and returning families in the White Nile State, benefiting 21,726 individuals, as part of the “Madad” project in Sudan for the year 2026.

The center explained that the distribution included the localities of Rabak and Al-Jabalain, where 2,849 food baskets were distributed in the locality of Rabak, benefiting 16,227 individuals, and 1,000 baskets were distributed in the locality of Al-Jabalain, benefiting 5,499 individuals.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), this comes as part of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people as a result of the humanitarian crisis they are going through, and to contribute to enhancing food security and supporting the needy and affected groups.
