Sudan welcomes the agreement between the United States and Iran.

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said in a statement issued last night that Sudan hopes the agreement will contribute to consolidating the principles of peace, development and prosperity, and will have a positive impact on the Middle East region.

The ministry appreciated the efforts of friendly countries that created the conditions for reaching the agreement, stressing that its success will help calm regional conditions and enhance the security of international waterways, serving the interests of the peoples of the region and the world.
