The Emir of Qatar and the Saudi Crown Prince discuss the latest regional and international developments.

January 1, 2026 (PEN) The Qatar News Agency reported that His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, today held a telephone conversation with his brother, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, during which they discussed the latest developments on the regional and international scenes of common interest.

The agency added that the call also included a review of the fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them, within the framework of the shared commitment to developing bilateral cooperation in various fields.
