Gold rises as Nvidia and Pfizer boost global innovation

November 8, 2025 (PEN) Global markets experienced sharp fluctuations at the end of the week, amid concerns about economic turmoil in the United States, rising gold prices as the dollar weakened, while global technology and pharmaceutical companies continued to strengthen their innovation positions.

Gold prices rose on Friday, November 7, supported by demand for the precious metal as a safe haven, amid growing concern about the US government shutdown, while Wall Street indices are poised to record clear weekly losses.

In the technology sector, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang confirmed that demand for Blackwell's advanced chips is growing significantly, explaining that the company is not only producing graphics processing units, but is also developing central processing units, network technologies and switches, in a move that enhances the diversity of its products and its position in the field of artificial intelligence.

In contrast, Pfizer strengthened its presence in the obesity drug market through a major acquisition deal, continuing to expand its investments in innovative drugs and modern treatments.
