Saudi Arabia confirms: Political solution is the only way to end Sudan crisis

November 5, 2024 (PEN) Saudi Arabia stressed that a political solution is the only way to end the crisis in Sudan.

This came during the weekly session of the Saudi Council of Ministers, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

The Council renewed its call for commitment and fulfillment of what was agreed upon in the Jeddah Declaration signed on May 11, 2023.

The Council urged the warring parties to cease fire, end the conflict and facilitate humanitarian access to those affected.
