Settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces

October 1, 2023 (QNA) Today, settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, protected by the Israeli occupation police.

The Palestinian Wafa News Agency reported that dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in successive groups from the direction of the Mughariba Gate, and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.

The Israeli occupation police deployed widely inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and obstructed the movement of citizens in its courtyards, to facilitate the settlers’ storming.

The occupation authorities, coinciding with the second day of the Jewish Sukkot holiday, imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinians coming from Jerusalem and the 1948 territories, checked their identities and detained some of them at its external gates.

Settlers carry out provocative daily raids on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, except on Fridays and Saturdays, in an attempt to control it and impose temporal and spatial division.
