Niger Transport Ministry: Military Council decides to reopen country's airspace

September 4, 2023 (FRANCE 24) The military regime that emerged from the Niger coup on Monday reopened the country's airspace, which has been closed since August 6, Niger's official news agency said.

The military closed Niger's land and air borders following their seizure of power and then reopened them with five border states on August 2nd: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Libya, Mali and Chad.
