دخل إضراب معلمي الجزيرة أسبوعه الخامس، مع اعتماد تكتيك الحضور للمدارس والامتناع عن التدريس، تمسكا بمطالب تحسين الأجور وصرف المستحقات.

قررت لجنة معلمي كسلا تمديد الإضراب حتى 16 يوليو، مؤكدة أن العودة للمدارس مرهونة بتنفيذ المطالب وصرف المتأخرات وتعديل المرتبات.

جددت لجنة المعلمين دعوتها للاستجابة لمطالب المعلمين، مع استمرار الإضراب في 4 ولايات بنسب عالية، رغم إجراءات قالت إنها تعسفية بحق عدد من المعلمين.

The Sudanese Teachers Committee confirmed that the movement expresses a state of accumulated anger among teachers as a result of years of neglect and marginalization.

The Sudanese Teachers' Union affirmed that "real reform begins with an immediate end to the war."

The organization called on world leaders to provide flexible funding and ensure access for humanitarian aid.
